An estimate to help plan your training
Energy is a guide from 0 to 100 for approaching training. It is not a measurement of fuel left in your body, muscle recovery, or what you can safely lift.
Strikt uses the estimate to adjust session volume and movement breaks. A lower number can mean a lighter suggestion. Your symptoms, circumstances, and judgment still matter more than a score.
What goes in
The inputs are deliberately few.
- Your check-in: sleep, how you feel, stress, and soreness. The first check-ins build a personal baseline. Reaction speed no longer affects Energy.
- Recent training: time spent moving and how hard the set felt shape the estimate. Older sessions gradually carry less weight.
- Apple Health, if connected: recent sleep and workouts add context. Heart signals contribute only when enough personal history is available. A wearable is optional.
Missing data stays missing
Without recent signals, Strikt leaves the score blank. Missing sleep or heart data is not treated as evidence of good recovery.
The number is an estimate built from available inputs. Regional views for legs, upper body, and core organize training context; they do not measure the recovery of individual muscles.
Read the context, then decide
Open the Energy detail to understand what is influencing the suggestion. Compare it with your check-in and recent training before deciding how to approach the next set.
Calories are a separate estimate. A short, hard set can feel demanding without using many calories. Neither number is a direct measurement of fatigue during each rep.
