Strikt vs Freeletics

Strikt or Freeletics? Two different jobs.

Freeletics plans your training. Strikt counts it with the camera and builds your day around energy and small breaks. Here is the honest distinction.

The short version

Choose Freeletics when your main question is “what should I train this month?” and you want a broad, adaptive program with a large exercise catalog.

Choose Strikt when your main question is “how much do I have today, and did those reps actually happen?” The phone counts the set, the day is sized to your energy, and the log writes itself.

Where Freeletics is stronger

Freeletics has the advantage when you want a complete program: weeks of training laid out, adapted to feedback, with a catalog that reaches well beyond bodyweight. It is the more established choice for people who want the app to own the journey.

It is also the better choice if a large part of your training is running or loaded lifts. Strikt only counts what a stationary phone camera can see.

Where Strikt is different

Strikt puts measurement at the center instead of treating it as one mode among many. Every set is counted by the camera, the recap is written from what actually happened, and the same count is the currency in races and benchmarks.

  • Camera-counted reps, on-device, on every supported movement.
  • A day sized to your energy, read from a short morning check-in and your sessions.
  • Three optional movement breaks, with room and setup requirements that depend on the movement.
  • A deliberately narrow product: less to log, less to configure.

Pick

Freeletics

You want a program that plans months for you and covers running and weights.

Strikt

You want the set counted, the day sized, and a log you never have to type.

Both

Follow a plan elsewhere and use Strikt for the bodyweight sets, the breaks and the races. They coexist fine.
