Strikt vs Strava

Strikt or Strava? One is a network. One is a counter.

Strava records and shares activities, including indoor workouts. Strikt counts supported bodyweight sets with your iPhone camera. Choose around the record you want to keep.

The short version

Choose Strava when the thing you want to record is a route, a ride or a run, and you want the people you know to see it.

Choose Strikt when the thing you want to record is a set of push-ups that the phone counted while you did it, and the people you race are racing the same count.

Where Strava is stronger

Strava has a real network: clubs, segments, challenges and a history that makes comparison useful for the next person who joins. If you run, ride or swim, nothing in Strikt replaces that record.

Strava is also the better place for a broad public activity feed. Strikt keeps the social layer small on purpose: friends, races and standings.

Where Strikt is different

Strava supports indoor activities too; this comparison is about the detail you want to capture. Strikt focuses on camera-counted reps in front of a stationary phone. The count comes from the camera, so a race between two friends is scored by the same referee on both sides.

  • Camera-counted reps within a supported bodyweight set.
  • Live races scored from the movement, not from a self-reported number.
  • No public feed. Friends, races and standings only.
