# Strikt > Strikt is an iPhone app that counts bodyweight reps with the camera, on-device, and sizes each day to your energy from a two-minute morning check-in. It adds three short movement breaks, guided sessions, a 25-movement library, and live races against friends scored by the same camera. Strikt is an independent app made in Italy. It is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad (iOS 18 or later) in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Pose analysis runs on-device; Coach Lens may retain a temporary silent replay locally, never uploaded. Opt-in movement diagnostics can upload landmark traces retained for seven days. There is no form score: a completed physical cycle counts, only physically impossible cycles are refused, and missing camera evidence makes the counter wait rather than refuse. ## Start here - [Home](https://strikt.fit/): the day, the camera, privacy, FAQ - [FAQ](https://strikt.fit/#faq): 8 short answers about devices, counting, privacy, cost - [About](https://strikt.fit/about): who makes Strikt and the rules it is built on - [Changelog](https://strikt.fit/changelog): what shipped, release by release - [Full text for assistants](https://strikt.fit/llms-full.txt) ## Movement guides - [Air Squats](https://strikt.fit/movements/air-squats): Bodyweight squat, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Push-Ups](https://strikt.fit/movements/push-ups): Bodyweight horizontal press, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Sit-Ups](https://strikt.fit/movements/sit-ups): Full trunk flexion, best read side on - [Reverse Lunges](https://strikt.fit/movements/reverse-lunges): Step-back split squat, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Glute Bridges](https://strikt.fit/movements/glute-bridges): Hip extension lockout, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Jump Squats](https://strikt.fit/movements/jump-squats): Explosive plyo squat, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Forward Lunges](https://strikt.fit/movements/forward-lunges): Step-forward split squat, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Wall Sit](https://strikt.fit/movements/wall-sit): Isometric quad hold, best read side on - [Split Squats](https://strikt.fit/movements/split-squats): Stationary lunge, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Good Mornings](https://strikt.fit/movements/good-mornings): Standing hip hinge, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Donkey Kicks](https://strikt.fit/movements/donkey-kicks): Quadruped glute kickback, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Single-Leg RDLs](https://strikt.fit/movements/single-leg-rdls): Single-leg hip hinge, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Single-Leg Glute Bridges](https://strikt.fit/movements/single-leg-glute-bridges): Unilateral hip extension, best read side on - [V-Ups](https://strikt.fit/movements/v-ups): Trunk + legs to a V, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Lying Leg Raises](https://strikt.fit/movements/lying-leg-raises): Straight-leg hip flexion, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Reverse Crunches](https://strikt.fit/movements/reverse-crunches): Lower-ab knee tuck, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Standing Side Bends](https://strikt.fit/movements/standing-side-bends): Standing oblique flexion, best read facing the camera - [Russian Twists](https://strikt.fit/movements/russian-twists): Seated oblique rotation, best read facing the camera - [Plank](https://strikt.fit/movements/plank): Isometric core hold, best read side on - [Side Plank](https://strikt.fit/movements/side-plank): Lateral core hold, best read facing the camera - [Hollow Hold](https://strikt.fit/movements/hollow-hold): Gymnastics dish hold, best read side on - [Bird-Dogs](https://strikt.fit/movements/bird-dogs): Opposite arm + leg extension, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Plank Up-Downs](https://strikt.fit/movements/plank-up-downs): Plank to push-up transition, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Dead Bugs](https://strikt.fit/movements/dead-bugs): Anti-extension core, best read from a three-quarter angle - [Jumping Jacks](https://strikt.fit/movements/jumping-jacks): Arm + leg abduction, best read facing the camera ## Comparisons - [Strikt vs Freeletics](https://strikt.fit/compare/freeletics): Freeletics plans your training. Strikt counts it with the camera and builds your day around energy and small breaks. Here is the honest distinction. - [Strikt vs Strava](https://strikt.fit/compare/strava): Strava records and shares activities, including indoor workouts. Strikt counts supported bodyweight sets with your iPhone camera. Choose around the record you want to keep. - [Strikt vs Apple Fitness+](https://strikt.fit/compare/apple-fitness-plus): Fitness+ offers trainer-led workouts and meditations. Apple Watch is optional. Strikt uses the iPhone camera to count the bodyweight sets you do. ## Journal - [Should you work out in the morning or evening?](https://strikt.fit/notes/should-you-work-out-morning-or-evening): How to choose a training time that fits your day, and what small studies can tell us about strength and muscle growth. - [Should you change exercises every workout?](https://strikt.fit/notes/should-you-change-exercises-every-workout): How to choose between a familiar routine and more variety, without treating novelty as proof of progress. - [Do you need weights to build strength?](https://strikt.fit/notes/do-you-need-weights-to-build-strength): Bodyweight training can build strength. What a push-up study shows, where the comparison stops, and how to decide whether equipment solves a real problem. - [Do you have to train to failure?](https://strikt.fit/notes/do-you-have-to-train-to-failure): A demanding set does not have to end with a failed repetition. What the evidence says, and how to decide why you are stopping. - [Which exercise should you do first?](https://strikt.fit/notes/which-exercise-should-you-do-first): Give the start of your workout a purpose: choose a priority, account for preparation, and compare sessions with exercise order in mind. - [More reps: are you actually making progress?](https://strikt.fit/notes/more-reps-are-you-making-progress): How to compare bodyweight workouts when the variation, rest periods, or effort changes. A practical way to keep a useful training log. - [How long should you rest between sets?](https://strikt.fit/notes/how-long-to-rest-between-sets): Shorter pauses do not automatically make a better workout. How to give rest a purpose, and what the research can actually tell you. - [No soreness: did your workout still count?](https://strikt.fit/notes/no-soreness-did-your-workout-count): What post-workout soreness can tell you, what it cannot prove, and what to record when you want to see progress. - [Only ten minutes: is a short workout worth it?](https://strikt.fit/notes/is-a-ten-minute-workout-worth-it): What a short session can add to your week, what it cannot replace, and how to use the time without turning it into a punishment. - [The seven-day show-up experiment](https://strikt.fit/notes/the-seven-day-show-up-experiment): For one week, notice what makes starting easier. A small experiment in showing up, with no streak to protect and no personal best to chase. - [Why Strikt counts your reps and refuses to grade them](https://strikt.fit/notes/count-dont-grade): Earlier versions scored every rep from 0 to 100 and explained what went wrong. We removed it. A completed cycle is a rep, and the recap tells the rest. - [Why camera-first training changes the rep](https://strikt.fit/notes/camera-first-training): A workout log records what you say happened. A camera can observe what actually happened. That difference changes the feedback loop. - [What the camera cannot see, and what we do about it](https://strikt.fit/notes/what-the-camera-cannot-see): Occlusion, distance, bad light, a phone at the wrong height. The honest list of things that break a count, and how the counter behaves when they happen. - [How Energy reads your day](https://strikt.fit/notes/how-energy-reads-your-day): How Strikt estimates training readiness from your check-in and recent activity, what Apple Health adds, and what the number cannot tell you. - [Three breaks a day, and why they are timed the way they are](https://strikt.fit/notes/three-breaks-a-day): Movement breaks are tiny sets between sessions. Here is the schedule, the five movements they can ask for, and the reason the list is so short. - [The tracking we refuse](https://strikt.fit/notes/the-tracking-we-refuse): A camera app has to be explicit about what it keeps. This is the list of what leaves the phone, what never does, and what we deliberately do not collect. - [When Strikt is the wrong tool](https://strikt.fit/notes/when-not-to-use-strikt): Not every workout needs a camera, a count, or an app. These are the cases where Strikt should stay in your pocket. - [How to count push-ups with your iPhone camera](https://strikt.fit/notes/count-push-ups-with-your-iphone-camera): Where to put the phone, how to get in frame, and what the counter needs to close a push-up. Four steps, no wearable. - [Do you need an Apple Watch to track bodyweight training?](https://strikt.fit/notes/no-wearable-needed): No. A watch counts heartbeats and steps; it cannot see a squat. Strikt uses the iPhone camera as the sensor and treats Apple Health as optional. - [Is Strikt a HYROX app?](https://strikt.fit/notes/strikt-for-hyrox): Strikt is built for functional fitness and hybrid race preparation, and it counts the bodyweight work between the stations. It does not track the stations themselves. - [What Strikt Pro unlocks, and what stays free](https://strikt.fit/notes/what-strikt-pro-unlocks): The download is free. Regular use needs Strikt Pro, a monthly or annual subscription with a free trial on the annual plan. Here is exactly what that means. ## Legal - [Privacy policy](https://strikt.fit/privacy) - [Terms](https://strikt.fit/terms)
