Where to put the phone

On your back, side on to the phone, one foot planted and the other leg extended.

Stand side on. The depth and the line of the movement are clearest from the side.

What closes a rep

Drive the hips up on the planted leg, then lower. The rep closes when the hips come down.

What makes the counter wait

Keep the planted knee bent. If it straightens the movement stops reading as a bridge.

One tip

One leg per set. The recap keeps each side separate.

After the set

Every set ends with the same recap: reps counted, time, pace, the longest run, pauses, whether the second half held up, and the camera angle the phone actually saw. Technique detail is measured for the recap and never used to refuse a rep. Why we count and do not grade →
