Wall Sit

Isometric quad hold. A timed hold: the counter banks seconds.

Where to put the phone

Side on to the phone, back against a wall, thighs roughly parallel to the floor.

Stand side on. The depth and the line of the movement are clearest from the side.

What banks time

Time banks while the seated position holds. Standing up stops the clock.

What makes the counter wait

Sliding up the wall until the knees straighten ends the hold. Sliding lower than parallel does not.

One tip

Rest the hands on the thighs or hold them out, both are fine. The camera reads the hips and knees.

After the set

Every set ends with the same recap: seconds held, time, the longest run, pauses, whether the second half held up, and the camera angle the phone actually saw. Technique detail is measured for the recap and never used to refuse time. Why we count and do not grade →
